Eunice is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda. Ms. Eunice has over 10 years’ experience in, Legal Reforms, Policy Development and implementation, Land Governance, Land Acquisition, Research, and Gender Equity.
Eunice holds a Master of Laws-International Legal studies from Georgetown University, USA, a Master of Laws-General Studies from Makerere University, and a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University. She also holds a Diploma in legal practice from Law Development Centre and an International Certificate in Human Rights from Georgetown University. Eunice is an alumni of the Leadership and Advocacy for Women in Africa Fellowship program, USA.
As our international consultant on women’s land reforms, Eunice has helped IWILAP to use the law to advance and protect women’s land rights. While pursuing her Fellowship Program in Washington DC, she worked with New Markets Lab and Cadasta Foundation to draft System Regulatory Maps on land and develop a gender strategy respectively. Currently she is a team leader for Systematic Land Adjudication and Certification a sub-program under the World Bank funded CEDP-AF.
